Introduction:

Professor Lin Guolong is a professor of logistics management and engineering at Shanghai Maritime University and a doctorate supervisor. He is currently the director of the Logistics Research Center of Shanghai Maritime University and a senior maritime arbitrator. He is also a guest professor of the MBA Program at Dutch Mastership University and the University of Western Kennedy, USA. He is also a guest professor of DBA and MBA programs at Kennedy West University, a guest professor of the MBA program at the University of Hawaii and a member of the China Logistics and Purchasing Federation’s Logistics Professional Qualification Expert Committee.

In 1998, with the appointment of the Mechanical Industry Press, Prof. Lin Guolong translated the authoritative book "Logistics Management - Supply Chain Process Integration" acknowledged in today's world, which led an upsurge of learning "modern logistics" in China. In addition to undergraduate education and mentoring graduate students, he has presided over and participated in a number of national and provincial-level scientific research projects while serving as a consultant to a number of foreign trade companies and shipping companies. Over the years, he has given logistics training classes in domestic and international port and shipping companies and logistics companies, such as Maersk Logistics, COSCO Group, Shanghai Petrochemical, Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone, Sinotrans Shipping Group, China Shipping Group, Changjiang Steamship Company, SAIC Group, Hong Kong Belle Group, Hong Kong Merchants Group, Hong Kong Ocean Shipping Company, Hong Kong Shipping Staff Association. He has lectured in Hong Kong, South Korea, the United States, Germany, Japan, Singapore, and other countries on many occasions. He has been constantly rushing through lectures and reports organized by open coastal cities in China, and has provided logistic consulting services for a number of companies, as well as logistics topics.
